Fire Safety Act
Be It Enacted By The Canyon Ridge Model Congress
Preamble: Whereas the safety of our school campus and Stewart are our main concerns, no fire hazard may be used in the creation of the vehicles,
SECTION 1: Items that contain flames, are highly flammable, or are against school handbook guidelines are not allowed to be used in the creation or setting up of any vehicle,
SECTION 2: This includes but is not limited to gasoline, matches, flame throwers, propane, or Bunsen burners,
SECTION 3: Let groups that do not follow within the guidelines of this act either loose the 10 points for successfully completing the task, and if the group has already suffered this consequence as a result of a different violation the group will suffer an additional 5 points on their rubric.
SECTION 4: The entire group is held responsible for abiding by this act and maintaining safety standards of the school at all times.
SECTION 5: This bill shall go into effect immediately.
