The Safety of Stewart Act
Be It Enacted By The Canyon Ridge Model Congress
Preamble: Whereas the solution to Stewart’s problems can not inherently injure him in any way and still be considered successful and since one of the purposes of the solution should be t to deliver Stewart away from injury,
SECTION 1: Let no device intended to help Stewart cause harm to Stewart, a mouse.
SECTION 2: Let all devices intended to solve the problem have a way for Stewart to travel safely on the device, for testing purposes a playing piece from the game ‘mouse trap’ shall be used as a dummy for Stewart..
SECTION 3: Let groups that do not follow within the guidelines of this act either loose the 10 points for successfully completing the task, and if the group has already suffered this consequence as a result of a different violation the group will suffer an additional 5 points on their rubric.
SECTION 4: The entire group is held responsible for the safety of Stewart.
SECTION 5: This bill shall go into effect immediately.
